Information

With this "confront" element you will probably want to make good use of your pause button so that you have a chance to answer the questions properly and not get cut off too soon by the acknowledgement.

"Confront" here is used in a slightly different meaning, not so much to "challenge" as to "face without flinching, without shying away."

The first question of each pair, the could you confront is to examine the overall idea of your topic as it seems to you now (the people; the places; the events; the efforts, emotions and thoughts--yours and others) and find some part of it that you could comfortably face without flinching. Do not simply settle for "All of it" at the outset, but find a specific part, even if it takes a while.

The other question of each pair, the rather not confront means find some part of it you would prefer not to look at or be involved with at all. Again, do not simply settle for "All of it" at the outset, but find a specific part.

The reason for doing this is that it sometimes help to discharge the topic more easily when you have tried facing or not facing the different aspects of it.
