"Remember to rub and yawn. "Focus on the emotions, the feelings in your topic, both yours and others'. Try to experience the actual emotions and reactions rather than simply getting the idea of them. Then put these emotions above you. OK. "Focus on the emotions, the feelings in your topic, both yours and others'. Try to re-experience them rather than simply getting the idea of them, and put them below you. Good. "Put them to the right of you. OK. "Put them to the left of you. Fair enough. "Focus on these emotions in your topic, re-experience them and and put them in front of you. All right. "Put them behind you. Thank you."

"Emotions" here includes feelings, attitudes, and any reactions including protest. Try to re-experience the actual emotions, feelings, and reactions rather than simply getting the idea of them. The reason for this is that often strong emotions are frozen in one's topic, but one can slide over them and not discharge them because they are not obvious when one simply gets pictures of events in one's mind. Discharging them through the usual rub and yawn mechanism will bring added relief. |
