Information

Are you familiar with Rub&Yawn? If not, there isn't a full explanation at all in this session, and you would probably miss out much of the benefit from the session procedure. The explanation is in the element Introduction to Rub&Yawn.

Are you physically tired? How many hours sleep did you have last night? If you are tired, it will be very difficult to get any benefit from this session. It just doesn't work. A tired body tends to suck up any extra floating around, and there is none spare to deal with the mental energies being addressed.

Are you hungry or thirsty? Have you eaten well today, i.e. nutritious food in sufficient quantity? Like the sleep, a hungry body is energy-starved, and any spare energy tends to get used for that and not for mental purposes. Fresh water helps to carry away any toxins released into the body along with the stagnant or harmful energy released by the discharge process.

Have you taken drugs or alcohol recently, maybe the last 24 hours? Are you under their influence at all? Medication for high blood pressure or diabetes or similar is OK, but these sessions don't mix well with drugs that affect your mood level. This isn't a moralistic point--if you're not fully there due to recently taking drugs or alcohol, you aren't likely to benefit much from these sessions.

Is it OK with you to follow my instructions for this session? If you don't like taking orders, and are not really willing to follow the instructions on what to do, there isn't much point in continuing. These sessions aren't spectator sports--if you want to get the benefits, you have to follow the instructions and do as you are told. You don't have to like it particularly, just be willing to go along with it for the duration of the session and not try to combine the procedures with something else. OK?

"Do you know what topic you will be addressing in the session?" If not, have you chosen a session start that includes determining the topic to address?

"Have you decided which procedures to use in this session? It is usually a good idea to have a carefully-worked out session plan (what procedures, in which order) before the session, and not a good idea to be trying to figure it out when mid-session and in the middle of trying to address a hot topic. If in doubt, get it sorted out before the session.

Again, these points are technical ones, not moral ones. If you are tired, or hungry, or only drank some beer for lunch, and don't intend to follow the instructions, this probably isn't going to work and you will be wasting your time. If all of these points are fine, then great, well done, let's get on with it!

Is there any reason we shouldn't begin this session?
